Partnership and communication between parents, carers and nursery staff is fundamental to ensuring that all children are provided with a rich experience during their time here. Each child will be allocated a ‘Key Person’ during their settling in period which will allow parents to build a positive bond with their child’s allocated adult from the very first day.
Here at nursery we use a range of observation tools and are always looking into how we can develop this further to ensure that parents and carers are kept up to date with their child’s experiences. In the Spring Term of 2021 we began using the Famly App which allows nursery staff to keep parents up to date instantly with their child's daily routines, and is an incredible tool for showcasing observations and allowing parents and the nursery to have a clear overview of each individual child's Early Years journey. Famly ensures that parents and carers are able to see first-hand how their child/children interact with others throughout the day, nap times, meals, nappy changes, how they learn through play, grow and develop through a wide range of activities, enjoy each and every day with our dedicated team and so much more. This ensures that you are provided with regular picture or video observations which will be linked to your child’s development based on the EYFS Curriculum. It is a secure platform that allows the nursery to share information instantly and directly to parents devices.
Our team pride themselves on the consistent regular feedback with parents to ensure that all of the needs of the child are being met, and that progress and achievements are being shared accordingly.
Security and safety is extremely important to us here at nursery and we ensure to take all possible measures to safeguard, protect, supervise and care for your child at all times.
